About Our Psychology Service
Support That Meets You Where You Are
Psychology is not just for crisis. Many people seek support for everyday struggles — feeling overwhelmed, navigating a big life change, processing a loss, or simply wanting to understand themselves better. Whatever has brought you here, our psychologists provide a safe, non-judgmental space to work through it.
Our registered psychologists work with children, adolescents, adults, and older Australians across our four Perth clinic locations and via telehealth. We take a warm, collaborative approach, working with you to understand your experiences and find strategies that work for your life.
We accept a range of funding types including Medicare, NDIS, DVA, workers compensation, and private health insurance. If you are unsure what applies to you, our admin team is happy to help. Call us on (08) 6384 7040 or enquire online.

What to Expect
Your First Psychology Appointment
If you have never seen a psychologist before, it is completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. Here is what your first session at Therapy Hub will typically look like.
Your first session is about getting to know you. Your psychologist will ask about what has brought you in, your current situation, and what you are hoping to get out of the process. You do not need to have everything figured out before you come — you just need to show up.
You are in control of what you share and when. Your psychologist will follow your lead and will never push you to talk about things you are not ready to discuss. Building trust takes time and that is completely okay.
Together, you and your psychologist will identify what you want to work toward and begin to develop a plan. This might involve specific therapeutic strategies, between-session activities, or simply having a regular space to process and reflect.
What you share with your psychologist is confidential. There are some specific exceptions to this — for example, if there is a serious risk of harm — but your psychologist will explain these clearly at your first session. You can also ask any questions you have about privacy before you start.
