Getting You Moving Again

Physiotherapy is concerned with how your body moves — and what happens when injury, pain, illness, or disability gets in the way. Our physiotherapists assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions affecting movement and physical function, from acute injuries to long-term conditions requiring ongoing management.

At Therapy Hub, our physiotherapists work with children, adolescents, adults, and older Australians across our four Perth clinic locations and via our mobile service. We take a hands-on, evidence-based approach, working with you to understand your condition and develop a treatment plan that fits your goals and your life.

We accept a wide range of funding types including NDIS, Medicare, DVA, workers compensation, and ICWA. If you are unsure what applies to your situation, our admin team is happy to help. Call us on (08) 6384 7040 or enquire online.

Physiotherapy for Every Stage of Life

Our physiotherapists have experience working across all life stages, adapting their approach to the unique needs of each client.

🧒

Children

Under 12

Paediatric physiotherapy supports children with developmental conditions, neurological diagnoses, physical delays, and musculoskeletal concerns. We use engaging, child-friendly approaches to build strength, coordination, and confidence in movement.

🧑

Adolescents

12 to 17

Adolescents are prone to growth-related injuries, overuse conditions, and sports injuries. Our physiotherapists understand the physical demands of this life stage and help young people recover safely and return to the activities they enjoy.

👩

Adults

18 and over

Adult physiotherapy covers everything from acute sports injuries and workplace injuries to chronic pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological conditions. We develop treatment plans around your goals, your work, and your lifestyle.

👴

Older Adults

65 and over

For older Australians, physiotherapy focuses on maintaining mobility, managing pain, reducing falls risk, and supporting recovery from surgery or illness. We are experienced in working sensitively with older adults and their carers.

Your First Physiotherapy Appointment

Not sure what happens at a physiotherapy appointment? Here is what your first session at Therapy Hub will typically look like.

1
Assessment and history

Your physiotherapist will begin by asking about your condition, how it started, what makes it better or worse, and how it is affecting your daily life. They will review any relevant medical history, scans, or previous treatment you have had.

2
Physical examination

Your physiotherapist will carry out a hands-on examination to assess your movement, strength, posture, and the specific structures involved in your condition. This helps them form a clear clinical picture and identify the most appropriate treatment approach.

3
Diagnosis and explanation

Your physiotherapist will explain what they have found, what is likely causing your symptoms, and what the treatment plan will involve. We believe in keeping you informed — you should understand your condition and feel confident in the plan before we begin.

4
Treatment begins

Treatment often begins in the first session and may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, taping, or other techniques depending on your condition and goals. Your physiotherapist will also discuss what you can do between sessions to support your recovery.

How to Fund Your Physiotherapy Sessions
