Workers’ Compensation & Motor Vehicle Accident Counselling
At Your Therapy Hub, we offer expert multidisciplinary care for individuals navigating workers’ compensation claims or recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVAs) in Western Australia. As a mobile service, our physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists deliver personalized, evidence-based care at your location or our on-clinic site, addressing physical, functional, and emotional challenges to support a full recovery.
Support for Workplace Injuries
Our team is highly experienced in guiding clients through the Western Australian workers’ compensation system. We provide tailored care for workplace injuries, addressing a range of physical and psychological challenges:
-
Our psychologists support those experiencing emotional challenges, such as adjustment difficulties, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from workplace incidents. We help you build resilience and manage concerns about finances, relationships, or the future, with sessions available at your location or our clinic.
We collaborate closely with workplace rehabilitation consultants, general practitioners, insurance providers, and employers to ensure a coordinated recovery process.
-
Our occupational therapists help you return to work or daily activities through functional assessments, workplace modifications, and adaptive strategies. We support a safe and sustainable return to your role, delivered via mobile visits or at our clinic.
-
Our physiotherapists treat workplace injuries, such as sprains, strains, or repetitive stress injuries, using hands-on therapy and customized exercise programs. We bring treatment to you or provide support at our clinic to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore strength.
Support for Motor Vehicle Accident Recovery
For individuals involved in MVAs, our multidisciplinary team addresses both physical and psychological impacts.
-
We provide counselling for trauma, anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns following an MVA, helping you process the experience and build emotional resilience, with sessions at your location or our clinic.
-
Our occupational therapists support you in regaining skills for daily living, work, or leisure, offering adaptive strategies and equipment recommendations to enhance independence, available through mobile or on-clinic services.
-
We treat MVA-related injuries like whiplash, back pain, or joint issues with evidence-based techniques, including exercise programs and hands-on therapy, delivered at your location or our clinic to restore function and reduce discomfort.
How We Work
We accept referrals from general practitioners, insurance companies, workplace rehabilitation providers, and employers. Our team is experienced in navigating the workers’ compensation framework (WorkCover WA) and the Insurance Commission of Western Australia (ICWA) for MVA claims.
For MVA clients, a GP referral is required for ICWA-funded treatment. Once approved, we directly bill ICWA for all services, ensuring no out-of-pocket costs. For workers’ compensation, we streamline communication with insurers and stakeholders to simplify the process. If your claim is pending, you’ll be charged as a private patient, with the option to seek reimbursement once approved.
